Sacredness of God
Sacredness of God

To know God... without embodying God in every cell of our body, is like trying to swim without entering the water. In all of us beyond our conscious mind there is a voice of embodiment calling us to live our lives like music that often speaks to us briefly in moments of inspiration or crisis.

In being aware of God's presence, we experience the sacred mysteries of the spectacular glow of a sunset, the discovery of a truth, the incredible structure of a beautiful flower, the realization of harmony, or the astonishment that comes from observing the perfection of a tree or a plant. When we have God's eyes we see the epitome of loveliness, the gracefulness, the elegance, the delicacy, the aliveness, the freedom, and the unadulterated sensitivity. This very sensitivity is what makes everything authentically alive. Our Sacredness cannot be demonstrated, or explained, or offered. Our Sacredness is simply present, in all its immensity. We cannot touch it or see it. We can only look with God's eyes ... and be aware!

This Sacred inner core is the birthright of every human being since we are all created in the image and likeness of God. Many times as we live in this microwave society, our Sacred inner core becomes hidden, enveloped, and obscured. Many times it is hard to recognize our Sacredness because it has become so encased, so wrapped up.

Our Sacredness of our inner core could be compared to the sun in the sky. Some days, we may see only the dark clouds and believe with conviction in the delusion that the sun is not present. But... just because the bright sun is entirely obscured by the dark clouds, it does not mean the sun is not there, shining. Why is it so hard to remember that the dark clouds are not the sun - that the sun is all omnipresent? Why is it so hard to recognize that these dark clouds can never stain nor diminish the sun in any way? Why do we live our lives in the periphery of the clouds, and not in the Sacred center core of our being?

God has revealed to us in so many avenues of our lives that He lives within each of us and that we share in the Divine nature of God himself...that everything He created shares His Divine nature...and everything is Sacred!

If you have not yet known the Sacredness of God, allow yourself  to dive inside yourself and "swim in the water of your inner sacredness," allow yourself to go beyond the daily illusions of the dark clouds, and experience a personal, caring, loving God, and your inner BEING-NESS.
